The airport is modern, with facilities that provide easy access to the city and its surrounding areas. The airport is located about 25 km from the city center, and you can reach it in around 30 minutes by car, taxi, or shuttle services. Taxis are readily available at the terminal, with fares varying depending on the time of day. Additionally, airport shuttles run frequently to central locations, including Ondokuz Mayıs University, the congress venue.
While Samsun does not have a high-speed rail network, it is connected by the Samsun-Kalın Railway. Trains connect Samsun Gar (Samsun Train Station) to other regional cities, offering a comfortable travel option for those coming from nearby areas. The station is located in the city center, just a short drive from Ondokuz Mayıs University.
Samsun has excellent bus connections, with long-distance buses arriving at the Samsun Intercity Bus Terminal from major Turkish cities such as Ankara, Istanbul, and Trabzon. From the terminal, participants can easily reach the city center or Ondokuz Mayıs University by local bus or taxi.
